Miss Shirley Sees Things

I like how, for a minute there, I actually thought to myself, “I know! I’ll just dig through my eclectic fabric collection and make myself a new skirt to wear! I don’t even have to finish the top, necessarily, I can cover that with a sweater, I can just hem the bottom, oh yeah, this’ll work-“

and I made it all the way into my studio before I reconsidered that thought with the following thoughts:
My fabric collection is no safer from moths than the clothing about which I am wary.
My eclectic collection isn’t exactly full of mild-mannered tweeds.
And also: Am I fucking crazy? I need to be in bed within an hour. STFU, girl, go find a moth-free dress, and wear that shit like a rational person instead. 

So that’s what I’ve done. Basic black dress with pockets it is.
