January 31st, 2012:
Inside Serra.
And thus concludes this project.
Y’all, I found a way to go outside every single day for an entire month.
I honestly don’t know if I have ever done that before.
-

January 30th, 2012:
Spending my feelings (on primarily work-appropriate wear, so it’s TOTALLY OK).
-
January 29th, 2012:
Last driving lesson of the month. I need to practice changing lanes.
-

January 28th, 2012:
In which waiting for a bus after the whirlwind of jumping into a car not long before seems just that much more insufferably dull and blasé.
eta: AND WOW I JUST NOTICED there’s that motel that that one asshole tried to force me to that time before screaming at me about being such a fucking waste of life, etc. I usually avoid it, because it’s not a good memory. And here I put it in the picture. Whoops. How do you like that.
-
January 27th, 2012:
Just in case you were thinking about it.
-
January 26th, 2012:
Proof that I do, on occasion, get home before dark.
Of course, I was only home for a short while before catching another bus to meet up with a classmate for schoolwork, so I did end up getting home after dark again, but still. Still.
(ps, these are the trees above my head as I walk back from the bus stop.)
-

January 25th, 2012:
cactus garden life.
-
January 24th, 2012:
In which the Ripley’s dinosaur must be getting retrofitted, or something.
I can’t believe how hard it is for me to take pictures in that neighborhood. There’s this shame I feel, like I need a disclaimer: this person is not a tourist, this person is a native, this person lived here when this stretch was still dirty, pre-mall, kindly do not associate this person with any tourist tendencies, just let this person catch her bus without scoffing at her for photographing this flashy, touristy place, please, oh my god, I’m native, I swear.

January 23rd, 2012:
“Who is Mary Lynn Monroe?” the little girl asked her star’s-star-struck elders, with a hearty attitude of IDGAF.
-
January 22nd, 2012:
In which I spent most of my outside time today DRIVING, so here, have a picture off my roof.
